Terms of Service
Effective: July 2, 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms govern your access to EdgeCut AI, including its website, creative workspace, Agent, voice features, generation models, storage, credits, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy and Refund Policies.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
2. The Service
EdgeCut enables users to generate, edit, extend, organize, and process images, video, audio, prompts, reusable elements, characters, and related creative assets. Features may include third-party models such as Kling, Gemini, and Veo; EdgeCut-branded free generation; lip sync; element and voice training; personal avatars built from your face and voice (see Section 7); and beta or experimental workflows.
Features, models, limits, resolutions, prices, credit costs, daily allowances, and availability may change, be rate-limited, or be discontinued at any time. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage, compatibility with every device, or that a provider will accept or complete any request.
3. Agent and voice chat
- The Agent interprets instructions, proposes creative decisions, manages context, and may initiate or coordinate actions in your workspace. It is automated software, not a human, fiduciary, lawyer, doctor, financial adviser, or other professional.
- Depending on your settings and confirmations, Agent actions may modify project state, create assets, call paid models, and consume credits. You are responsible for reviewing instructions, settings, approvals, and results before relying on them.
- Voice chat may record a spoken turn, transcribe it, submit the transcript to the Agent, and synthesize an audio reply. Transcription, language detection, and speech synthesis may be inaccurate. Do not use voice chat where recording is unlawful or without any consent required from people who may be recorded.
4. Free model and free allowances
EdgeCut AI may offer zero-credit image or video generation through an EdgeCut-branded free model or inference route. Free access may rely on external inference providers, may have lower or different capabilities, and may be subject to daily quotas, traffic limits, abuse controls, regional availability, or upstream capacity. Free quotas have no cash value, do not roll over unless expressly stated, and do not create any entitlement to future access. We may change, pause, or withdraw them without liability.
5. Credits, billing, and taxes
- Credits are a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to request eligible digital services. They are not money, stored value, property, or a financial instrument and cannot be redeemed for cash or resold.
- Displayed credit costs are based on the selected model and settings. A generation may fail, time out, be moderated, or produce an unsatisfactory result. Where our system detects a qualifying technical failure, it may automatically restore credits; this is not guaranteed for every interruption or provider response.
- Credit-pack purchases are processed by Polar Software, Inc. (Polar.sh), which acts as merchant of record and handles checkout, payment processing, receipts, taxes, and related compliance under its buyer terms. We do not receive your full card number.
Purchases and refunds are also governed by the Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
6. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you upload and any rights you may have in generated output. You grant EdgeCut and its processors a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, transform, display, and process your content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service and fulfill your requests. This license ends when the content is deleted, subject to backups, security records, legal obligations, and content already sent to a provider.
You represent that you have all rights and permissions required for every prompt, image, video, audio recording, voice, face, likeness, trademark, and other material you submit. If content depicts or records another person, you are responsible for obtaining valid consent and any model, performer, publicity, privacy, or voice releases required by law.
7. Avatar and personal likeness features
The Service may let you create a personal avatar: you submit enrollment media (such as a short selfie video, photos, or a voice recording), and the Service derives an avatar profile — which may include facial-appearance data and a synthetic voice model — used to render a consistent depiction of you, with a synthesized voice, in content you generate. By enrolling, you expressly request and consent to EdgeCut and its processors extracting facial features and voice characteristics from your enrollment media, creating and storing that avatar profile, and using it solely to fulfill generation requests made from your account. This data may be considered biometric or sensitive information under some laws; the Privacy Policy describes how it is handled.
- You may create an avatar only of yourself, or of another living adult who has given you informed, explicit, written consent that specifically covers reproducing their face and voice in AI-generated content. You must retain that consent and provide it to us on request. You must not create an avatar of a minor, of a deceased person without lawful authority, or of any public figure or other person whose consent you do not actually have.
- Your face and voice remain yours. We use your avatar profile only to operate avatar features for your account: it is not offered to other users, and it is not used to train an EdgeCut foundation model. Avatar processing may rely on third-party model and voice providers acting as processors for your request.
- Content generated with an avatar depicts a real, identifiable person. You are solely responsible for how you use and publish it, including any legally required synthetic- media disclosure or labeling, advertising and endorsement rules, election- and political-content rules, and publicity, privacy, and defamation laws in the relevant jurisdictions. You must not use an avatar to deceive, defraud, or harm anyone, or to present fabricated statements or conduct as real.
- Deleting an avatar (or closing your account) ends the license above and schedules the enrollment media and derived avatar profile for deletion, subject to backups, security records, legal obligations, and copies already processed by providers to fulfill earlier requests.
- We may decline, suspend, or delete an avatar, or require re-verification or proof of consent, where we suspect the enrollment media is not yours, consent is missing, or the avatar is being misused. Violations of this section are a material breach of these Terms.
8. AI output rights and risks
- We do not guarantee that output is unique, copyrightable, accurate, lawful, or non-infringing.
- Other users or models may create identical or similar output.
- You must perform your own legal, factual, safety, clearance, and quality review before commercial or public use.
- You must not represent AI output as authentic evidence or as a real person's statement, endorsement, or conduct where that would mislead others.
9. Prohibited use
You may not use the Service to:
- violate law, sanctions, court orders, intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights;
- create or distribute child sexual abuse material, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexualized deepfakes;
- impersonate, defraud, harass, threaten, exploit, or deceive a person, or falsely suggest sponsorship or endorsement;
- create unlawful hateful, extremist, violent, or dangerous content or instructions facilitating wrongdoing;
- clone or train a person's face or voice without sufficient rights and consent;
- perform unlawful biometric identification, surveillance, or profiling, or infer highly sensitive traits about a person;
- upload malware, probe security, reverse engineer restricted systems, scrape at scale, overload infrastructure, evade moderation, or circumvent credit, quota, account, or access controls;
- sell, sublicense, share, or provide unauthorized access to your account or credits.
We may block content, preserve evidence, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts, and cooperate with providers or authorities where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people or systems, or comply with law.
10. EdgeCut intellectual property
The Service, software, interface, branding, documentation, and underlying technology are owned by EdgeCut or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service. No other rights are granted. Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation.
11. Third-party services
The Service depends on model, cloud, storage, database, analytics, communications, and payment providers. Their terms, safety systems, privacy practices, outages, geographic restrictions, and output rules may apply. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, policy changes, or availability, although mandatory law may provide you rights against the applicable seller or provider.
12. Data, projects, and backups
You are responsible for downloading or backing up assets you need. We may impose storage limits and remove abandoned, unlawful, unsafe, or technically unrecoverable data. Deleted data may remain temporarily in backups, provider systems, logs, or legal records. The Privacy Policy explains our data practices.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated breach, fraud, payment reversal, security risk, legal requirement, provider restriction, or conduct that may harm EdgeCut, users, or third parties. Where practical, we may provide notice and an opportunity to remedy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
14. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." EDGECUT DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND RESULTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CONTENT WILL BE PRESERVED OR THAT ERRORS OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS WILL ALWAYS BE DETECTED.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EDGECUT AND ITS AFFILIATES, PERSONNEL, AND PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS, OR OPPORTUNITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
These exclusions do not apply where prohibited by law, including to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or to mandatory consumer rights.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EdgeCut and its affiliates, personnel, and providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of outputs, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by EdgeCut's own unlawful conduct.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Courts located in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek urgent injunctive relief in any competent court and consumers retain any mandatory right to bring a claim in their place of residence. Before filing a claim, please contact us and allow 30 days for an informal resolution.
18. General terms
We may update these Terms for legal, security, provider, or product changes. Material changes will apply prospectively after reasonable notice where required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of the Service. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control. These Terms and the referenced policies form the entire agreement concerning the Service.
19. Contact
Questions, rights complaints, and legal notices may be submitted through "Report an Issue" in the account dashboard or by email to support@edgecut.ai.
