Refund Policy

Effective: July 2, 2026

1. Digital credits

Credit packs provide immediate access to digital generation capacity. Because model and infrastructure costs are incurred when a request is submitted, purchases are generally final once credits have been used. Credits are not cash, stored value, or transferable property and cannot be redeemed for cash.

2. When a refund may be available

We or Polar may approve a refund or account correction for:

  • a duplicate charge;
  • a completed payment for which the purchased credits were not delivered;
  • an unauthorized transaction reported promptly and verified;
  • a material billing or credit-allocation error that we confirm; or
  • another circumstance where a refund is required by applicable law or card-network rules.

Depending on the issue, the appropriate remedy may be restored credits, replacement service, correction of the balance, or a monetary refund to the original payment method.

3. Generation failures

EdgeCut attempts to restore credits automatically when our systems identify a qualifying failed or timed-out paid generation. Automatic restoration is a credit correction, not a cash refund. Detection may not cover every provider response, network interruption, browser closure, moderation event, partial output, or delayed job. If a paid request fails and credits are not restored, report the generation and transaction details so we can investigate.

4. Non-refundable circumstances

Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, refunds are not provided for:

  • credits already consumed by completed or accepted provider requests;
  • unused credits, a change of mind, accidental model or settings selection, or failure to use a purchased balance;
  • subjective dissatisfaction with style, quality, accuracy, continuity, language, motion, audio, or other AI output;
  • outputs blocked, limited, or removed because the request violated law, provider rules, or our Terms;
  • device, browser, connectivity, or third-party software problems outside EdgeCut's reasonable control;
  • account suspension or termination resulting from a Terms violation; or
  • exchange-rate differences, bank fees, taxes, or payment-provider charges not retained by EdgeCut.

5. Free model and promotional access

EdgeCut AI free-model generations, daily allowances, trial capacity, bonus credits, and promotional grants are provided without charge and have no cash value. Their outage, exhaustion, expiration, modification, or discontinuation does not qualify for a monetary refund or compensation. If promotional credits are attached to a refunded or reversed purchase, they may also be removed.

6. Consumer cancellation rights

Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived. Consumers in some jurisdictions may have a cooling-off or withdrawal right for online purchases. For digital content or services supplied immediately, that right may end or be reduced after the consumer expressly requests immediate performance and acknowledges the applicable consequence. Polar's checkout and buyer terms provide transaction-specific information.

7. How to request review

Submit requests promptly, preferably within 14 days of the charge or issue, through "Report an Issue" or support@edgecut.ai. Include your account email, Polar order or receipt ID, date, amount, affected generation or project, and a short explanation. Do not send full card details. We may request information needed to verify identity, ownership, or the technical event.

8. Review and payment timing

We aim to review complete requests within a reasonable period. Approval is not guaranteed. Approved monetary refunds are issued by Polar to the original payment method; bank and card-network processing times vary. Refunds do not include unrelated bank, conversion, or third-party fees unless required by law.

9. Chargebacks and abuse

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can investigate. Fraudulent, abusive, duplicate, or bad-faith refund requests may be denied and may result in account restrictions. A payment reversal may cause the corresponding credits, outputs, or account access to be suspended or removed, without limiting mandatory rights.
