Generate expressive, reference-locked video (and strong Kling images) with native audio when speech matters. Job to be done: keep character/product look tight across a longer single clip or multi-beat action.

Expressive motion, multi-beat action, longer single clips (~3–15s), tight adherence to attached references, and spoken audio baked into the clip. Strong for ingredient-style composition when Elements and references are attached.

1. Attach character or product references in the prompt bar.

2. Mention Elements with @ so identity stays locked across generations.

3. Put spoken lines in clear quotes; label narration vs on-camera dialogue when both appear.

4. Confirm the approval card — Kling plans spend credits like other paid engines.

Singles go roughly to ~15s; longer or multi-shot storyboard animation becomes an Extend chain (Veo Extend or Kling Magic Extend, depending on the request). Free EdgeCut AI is not Kling and does not support references. For frame-synced speech on an existing clip, use the asset’s Lip Sync studio rather than expecting a generic Director plan item.

• Overloading one clip with too many conflicting characters and props.

• Omitting quote marks around dialogue so speech is weak or missing.
