How do I download an asset?

Export a finished image or video from your project. Job to be done: open a complete asset and download the file at the resolution EdgeCut stored for that render.

1. Open the project that contains the asset.

2. Confirm the gallery tile shows a finished state (not loading or failed).

3. Click the tile to open the asset modal / detail view.

4. Use the Download control.

5. Wait for the browser download to finish — large videos may take a moment to prepare.

The file downloads at the available resolution for that asset (for example 720p / 1080p / 4K depending on what was generated). EdgeCut does not re-encode to a different resolution at download time unless a separate tool or flow says otherwise.

• Refresh the page and confirm the asset status is complete.

• Try another browser or disable aggressive blockers on edgecut.ai.

• Prefer a stable Wi-Fi connection for large videos.

• If the asset itself failed generation, download will not work — fix or re-run the render first (see Generation failed).
