How do I render for free?

Generate without spending paid credits by opting into EdgeCut AI. Job to be done: explicitly select the free model, stay within daily quota and quality limits, and know what free cannot do.

1. In your request, explicitly ask for the free model / EdgeCut AI (for example: “use the free EdgeCut model”).

2. Or set EdgeCut AI as your agent default video/image model in agent settings.

3. Submit. Depending on confirm-before-generating, free-only plans may auto-approve or still show a card.

4. Free video is 720p at 4/6/8s with a daily quota. Free images are 1K and cannot use references.

• No references on free EdgeCut AI — use Veo, Kling, or Nano Banana for reference lock.

• Free video stays short (4/6/8s at 720p); long stories need paid engines + extend.

• Daily free video quota can exhaust — then wait for reset or use paid credits.

• Free is opt-in only. Paid models (Veo / Kling / Omni / Nano) are never silently swapped to free to save credits.

• Attaching references while on free EdgeCut AI.

• Expecting free quality/duration of Kling or Veo.

• Thinking a chat question or approval cancel “used up” free quota — only free renders consume free quota.

If free quota looks wrong after a confirmed free render, or you were charged when you explicitly opted into free, use Help Center chat at /help or email support@edgecut.ai with timestamps. Report an Issue in the account menu also reaches the team. Creative Director cannot grant quota or refunds.
