Generate images
Nano Banana, Kling images, and storyboard grids.
Use this to
Create stills for concepts, heroes, and pre-production boards before (or instead of) video. Job to be done: pick an image engine, attach references when needed, and iterate quickly.
Engines
• Nano Banana — fast high-fidelity stills, multi-reference compositions, and storyboard grids. Default choice for many polished frames and board layouts.
• Kling images — strong reference control when you want the Omni stack’s look on stills.
• EdgeCut AI free — 1K images, no references, opt-in only.
Steps
1. Set the prompt bar to Image (or ask the Director for a still / storyboard).
2. Describe composition, subject, lighting, and aspect needs.
3. Attach references or @ Elements when identity must match.
4. Approve the credit estimate if a card appears.
5. Open the finished still from the gallery to preview or download.
Storyboard grids
Ask for a visual plan / panels / shot board as images first. EdgeCut composes a single grid image rather than separate tiles per shot. Review the board, then ask to animate / render video when ready. Storyboard animation often uses Veo by default (especially logo-heavy boards) or Kling if you explicitly ask; multi-beat boards usually become an extend chain.
Tips
Iterate on the still before spending on video. Free 1K EdgeCut images cannot lock to references — switch to Nano Banana or Kling for packshots and faces. Chat planning with the Director does not spend credits until you confirm a render.
