Fix a bad extend
Drift, repeated beats, and identity breaks across segments.
Use this to
Recover when a chain drifts in look, repeats a beat, or breaks identity. Job to be done: describe what went wrong and re-run a corrected continuation with stronger locks.
What to try
1. Re-run with stronger character references or Elements / [@me].
2. Shorten the target or simplify beats if motion collapses.
3. Tell the agent exactly what drifted (hair, wardrobe, location, logo) and ask for a corrected continuation.
4. Prefer Veo chains for logo-heavy storyboards; prefer Kling when you explicitly want longer Kling segments.
5. Restate “same character as before” and keep the same [@Name] tags — do not rename mid-project.
Common causes
• Weak or conflicting references across segments
• Target duration too long for the amount of action described
• Spoken script longer than the allocated seconds
• Switching models mid-story without re-locking identity
Tips
Fix still storyboards before re-animating. One clear correction note beats a vague “make it better”. Check Credits Activity if a failed retry refunded automatically before you spend again.
When to contact support
Creative quality issues: Creative Director. Repeated provider failures, stuck chains, or refund gaps: Help Center chat at /help or support@edgecut.ai with project and timestamps. Report an Issue in the account menu is also fine.
