Elements (Ingredients)
Reusable characters, props, and environments you can @mention.
Use this to
Reuse the same cast and set pieces across generations. Job to be done: register an Element once, @mention it in prompts, and keep identity consistent on Veo / Kling / Nano paths that support references.
What they are
Elements (also called Ingredients) are reusable visual — and sometimes voice — assets you register once. Think of them as cast and set pieces you can drop into future stills and videos without re-uploading every time.
How to use
1. Open the Elements workspace from the product UI.
2. Create or register an element (character, prop, or environment) with clear source images.
3. In the project prompt bar, type @ and pick the Element.
4. Keep the [@Name] tag in the prompt when that identity should appear.
5. Submit and confirm the approval card when shown — Elements do not by themselves change which model is free vs paid.
Limits
Free EdgeCut AI does not support references/Elements the way paid engines do — opt into a paid model (Veo, Kling Omni, Nano Banana, etc.) when lock matters. Elements are neutral references for routing; asking for a model still wins over defaults.
Tips
Use well-lit source frames. One Element per character beats overloaded “kitchen sink” assets. Combine with one-off attachment references when you need a temporary prop. For your own likeness, use [@me] instead of a generic Element when Avatar is set up.
Common mistakes
• Removing the [@Name] tag when rewriting the prompt
• Expecting Elements to work on free EdgeCut AI
• Creating many near-duplicate Elements for the same character
