Stuck or slow renders
Long loaders, chain jobs, and when to refresh.
Use this to
Decide whether a long loader is normal or stuck. Job to be done: wait appropriately for singles vs extend chains, then refresh or escalate only if the job never finishes.
Normal waits
Video — especially extend chains — can take several minutes. One chain shows a single loader while segments run server-side. Higher resolution and longer target durations take longer. Free EdgeCut AI shorts are usually faster but still not instant.
If it never finishes
1. Give chain jobs several minutes before assuming failure.
2. Wait for the timeout/refund path if the UI eventually marks failure.
3. Refresh the project and re-check gallery status.
4. Open Credits Activity for timeout refunds.
5. Re-submit only if the job is marked failed — not while still loading.
6. Escalate via Help Center chat or support@edgecut.ai with timestamps if a job hangs indefinitely with no terminal state.
Tips
Avoid opening many heavy tabs during long chains. Prefer stable Wi-Fi. Hard-refresh after a deploy if the UI looks frozen but the network is fine.
When to contact support
Indefinite hangs, stuck charges, or severe outages: /help chat or support@edgecut.ai. Ordinary “how long should this take?” for a short single: wait and check gallery — Creative Director can also explain the plan.
